2 Months!!

I can't believe Hannah is already two months old. She was 10 pounds 8 ounces and 22 inches long when I took her to the Dr. She has grown so much in just one month, I can barely believe it!! The time is just flying by. She is just amazing us with all the new things she is learning. She has really started to recognize Shawn and me and smiles when she sees us, this of course melts my heart. She can hold her head up really well and loves to look around at all the things going on. She is also talking up a storm with her little coos...taking after her mother of course :) I can't wait to see what next month will bring!!

Visit to Colorado

Alright, alright I know I am behind and have not posted in awhile. It is hard to find time to sit down and write when there is a baby to be fed and played with, laundry to be done and a house to be cleaned!!

This May Hannah and I traveled back to Colorado for Amber's graduation from CSU!! Shawn was not able to come so I had to fly alone with her for the first time...yikes!! But, she did great!! I was so worried she might cry from the pressure change but she just slept the entire way. I had lots of fun introducing Hannah to family and friends for the first time. She of course loved all the attention!! Amber's graduation was great, so proud of my little sis.

One Month!!

I can't believe our baby girl is one month old. She is so amazing. I can't believe how observant she is. She loves looking around and being involved in everything Shawn and I do. Lately, when I try to put her down she will fight sleep and lays there awake just looking around. She is so interested in everything going on around her, I think that means she is going to be a genius!! She has started talking a little more...well I guess it is more like little yells. She loves playing tummy time with daddy and sitting in bed in the morning talking with mommy. Her favorite toy right now is the bouncer. Her favorite thing to do with both mommy and daddy is snuggle and she is so good at it, she fits perfectly in mommy's arms and on daddy's chest. She also loves bath time and going out and about in the stroller. She is getting so big...although she is still in newborn clothes, but I think we are getting close to moving up. Can't wait to see what this next month brings!!

Visitors

Shawn's parents came out to visit Hannah when she was about 3 weeks old. Terry was our wonderful chef for the week. He cooked some great dinners, it was nice to be able to rest and relax while they helped out. They enjoyed watching her play tummy time and snuggling up to her, she is so lovable!!

Play Time!!

Well we are learning about all these fun new toys of Hannah's. She is still not quite sure about all of them, but will usually tolerate being in each for awhile. When she has had enough she is sure to let us know by yelling out at us, which then turns into a screaming cry.

Great Grammie bought Hannah her swing for Christmas. Sometimes she loves it and other times she is not having it. She is starting to get more used to it now, but she is definitely clear that she only wants to be there if it is her choice, if that is not want she wants to do she lets us know!! She already has quite the little personality, I just love it!!

Our tummy time whale and play mat. Sometime she works on her neck strength and other times she lays calmly or falls asleep on the whale like it is a little pillow ha ha!! Like now, she was done playing and decided to take a nap. We caught her smiling in her sleep!!

Her bouncer is her favorite toy!! For some reason it totally relaxes her. Although just like with the swing...if she doesn't want to be in it she lets us know!! I think she likes the bouncing and the music it plays. My favorite part is that the bouncer actually bounces on its own!! I don't have to do anything.

First Bath!!

Hannah is to funny about her bath time. She just loves it!! Her faces are too funny she seems to be thinking so hard about what is going on. Her favorite part is getting her hair washed and rinsed. Can't wait till she can play and splash around!!

Our Sunbathing Beauty

As you may have noticed Hannah was a little bit Jaundice when she came home from the hospital. Our pediatrician said it was not bad enough to be to concerned about but that we needed to put her in the sun at least 2 times a day. I thought she would be very agitated with us taking off her clothes and laying her in the sun but the truth is she loved it ha ha. She would just look around, wiggle and make little squeaks. It was too cute!! Well, her baby suntan has finally started to fad which is weird because now I worry she is to pale ha ha. It is just hard getting used to her lighter skin tone, I did not realize how much darker her skin was due to the Jaundice. I am looking forward to going to the Dr. in a few days to hear how she is doing, but I can see she is doing so much better already!!
