5 Months!!!

Time keeps ticking away!! I can't believe Hannah is five months old, such a big girl. Hannah has made a lot of new discoveries this month she has found her feet and loves to play with them, she unfortunately has also found her thumb, and has also started grunting when she is frustrated. She can also sit up all by herself!!! and grab at things she wants. Her little personality is really starting to come out. She threw her first fit because I took a bag away from her and she wanted to play with it and if she can't get something in her mouth she yells at it and gets very frustrated. I have to be honest..it is hard not to laugh we she is so upset or frustrated because she is still just to dang cute!! I feel like she is growing up so fast. She is discovering and changing so much, I can't believe next month she is going to be 6 months!!

Papa and Nana's Visit!!

Last but not least Nana came out for a week to watch Hannah. Papa couldn't come out for the whole week so he came for the long Memorial Day weekend. Hannah and Nana loved spending time together playing and watching Clifford. Mom helped make dinners every night and even cleaned the house!! When Papa came we walked around Bricktown one afternoon and went to BassPro...ahh the joys of all the happening things to do in Oklahoma. Then of course Dad helped to little odds and ends things around the house. Mostly we had fun just hanging out at home spending time together.

Pops and Mimi's Turn!!

Pops and Mimi came out for a week to take their turn watching Hannah. Hannah had a lot of fun playing with them. They just loved watching her in her jumperoo and she showed them how much she loves to watch Clifford. Pops tried out his Donald Duck voice but Hannah wasn't to sure about it yet. They were so helpful with me going back to work, Pops cooked every night and Mimi helped to keep things picked up. They even mowed the lawn and picked the weeds!!! Shawn and I were so grateful for their help. I know Hannah enjoyed spending time with her grandparents.

Aunt Amber's Visit!!!

Well I finally had to start back to school. The lady Hannah is going to be staying with goes to Colorado for the summer and will not be until 3 weeks after school has started. So we asked Amber, my parents and Shawn's parents to each take a week. Amber had so much fun taking care of Hannah, I can tell she is so in love with her little niece and Hannah just loves her. Hannah would just watch Amber as she walked around and stare and smile at her has she talked. I don't know what it is but Hannah is just fascinated with Amber. I can just tell that Hannah is going to look forward to her Aunts visits as she gets older.

Cereal

4 months and time to try cereal!! Well we tried cereal for the first time today...Hannah is not a fan. Her face tells it all!! I have to be honest, it doesn't smell all that great so I am not sure it would taste that great either. She was so trusting at first, she just kept opening her mouth hoping it would be something better...once she realized it was going to taste the same every time, she pursed her lips together and would not open them. I guess we will keep trying to see if it gets better.
Ready for some Cereal
Open up!!
Oh I am not so sure abou this!!!
What are you feeding me??
Please no more Mommy!!

4 Months!!

Here are Hannah's 4 month pics!! She is growing so fast and learning so much. She has started to hold things like small rattles and links, and she can sit up with help. She has also discovered that she can shake her rattle to make noise. It was so neat to watch her discover that!! She would shake her rattle and then look over at the noise and then shake it again and look. Finally she realized it was her causing the noise so she just started shaking the rattle like crazy!!

Big Girl Bath Tub!!

Hannah is finally big enough for her blue bathtub. As soon as we put her in it she started splashing and kicking like crazy!! She just loves bath time and I have to admit so do I!!! I think it is one of my favorite times with Hannah, she enjoys it so much. I love to watch her get so excited and wave her arms up and down to splash in the water. Each new experience is so neat to watch. I feel so lucky to be a part of each new thing she does.

July Visit to Colorado

We got to travel back home to Colorado for a week in July. We had so much fun seeing friends and family. Hannah got to experience her first Rockies game, however, she was not a fan...the loud noises really scared her. She did have fun when there was no cheering ha ha. She loved being outside and looking around at everything.

Jumperoo!!!

One of Hannah's favorite games is having you hold her arms up so that she can stand. She gets so excited and smiles so big!! We decided that it would be a good idea to get her a Jumperoo so that she could stand up and bounce around. Well she absolutely loves it!! At first she would just sway from side to side but now she has started bouncing and bouncing and bouncing!! It has been neat to watch her discover each of the toys on the jumperoo too! At first she would only play with the stuff that was right in front of her. Now she can open and shut the clam and spins the lobster ball around and around. The Ocean Wonders Jumperoo is every mother's best friend!!!

Our 4th of July Cutie!!

Galveston

We traveled down to Galveston for the 4th of July weekend to visit with some of Shawn's family. Hannah did wonderful on the plane flight down which was great. We had lots of fun playing games, spending time with family, putt-putting and swimming in the ocean. We took Hannah to the beach for the first time too. She really was not to sure about the sand, she kept lifting up her feet trying to get them out when the water would wash sand over them.Sitting in front of one of the fans during putt-putt, it was a little too hot for Hannah!!After putt-putt

3 Months!!!

Wow I can't believe it has actually been 3 months!! Hannah is getting so big.
She can...
Talk!!! (well coo and yell but it is super cute and she definitly talks with emotion)
Lift her head up when on her tummy
Stand up if we are holding her (which by the way is her favorite game these days)
Sleeps through the night!!!
Grasp things with her hands

First Visit to Texas

Well Hannah and I ventured on our first road trip to Texas. She did great on the way down sleeping the whole way, however, coming back was a different story. For the first hour or so she just talked away then she decided to cry about half way through our trip, I figured she was getting hungry so I pulled over. As soon as I stopped the car she stopped crying and when I got in the back seat she just started smiling at me...she is such a stinker!! I decided to go ahead and feed her anyway then we got back on the road. About an hour later she started to cry again but gave up after about 10 minutes and went back to sleep. What usually takes us about 3 hours ended up taking closer to 4 and 1/2, YUCK!!
We did have a lot of fun while we were there. Shawn's parents took Hannah shopping and got her a few new outfits. They really enjoyed hearing her talk and seeing her smile. She also got to meet her Uncle Stephen for the first time...I am pretty sure she already has him wrapped around her little finger.
We spent the second half of our trip with my good friend Kelli and her 2 boys Gavin and Mason. We went shopping for bows which I am so addicted to buying!! I just keep telling Shawn it is an investment :) since she will be wearing them for years to come!!Can't even tell you how long it took us to get these pictures. Mason tried to eat Hannah's bow at least 3 times and all the babies kept falling into each other, it was too funny!!
