Well after much deliberation I was finally able to pick a paint color for Hannah's room. I love to paint as many of you may know, however, I am terrible when it comes to making a decision on the color. I get so nervous that it is going to turn out totally different than I thought. But Hannah's room turned out PERFECT!!! The shade of yellow we picked looks so good with the crib and the pieces of her bedding we have gotten, I can't wait to get the rest to see the finished product!!
Shawn and I spent all day on Sunday painting and putting the furniture together. He had to work on Saturday night so he was not very happy that I woke him up early Sunday afternoon to get started, but he was a great camp!! It was so much fun spending the day together, just the two of us preparing for our daughters arrival. I know she won't know it right away but lots of love and attention has gone into that room. I just can't help but stop and look in each time I pass by. Soon enough I will be peering in to see our sweet baby sleeping, can't wait!!
Shawn painting and loving it as you can tell by his face.

The room so far!!
My wonderful friend Kelly threw me the beautiful shower.

picture for our Christmas card next year wearing them!! I think Shawn is getting more and more excited for her arrival and he has begun to embrace the fact that we are having a girl. He helps me look at clothing and even offers his input. He keeps saying he is in big trouble because he is not going to be able to say no to her. I can't wait to see him with her because I know he is going to be a wonderful dad!!
